Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery as needed during installation for testing.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate keypad and telematics communications.
  • •Handle installation scenarios from basic power/ignition/ground setups to complex wiring harness work (including CAN network access).
  • •Diagnose and resolve problems; travel to client sites or EquipmentShare rental yards for installation cases.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred).
  • •Mechanical aptitude and good hands-on skill with tools.
  • •Hard-working, eager to learn, and mechanically inclined with excellent attention to detail.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer) or ability to fit those roles; telematics training provided.
  • •Own tools; clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and a 10-panel drug screen.
