Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver post-sales solution engineering activities including solution design, acceptance, remote deployment, and network reconfiguration or migration under senior engineer supervision
  • •Interface with Systems Engineers, Service Project Managers, Technical Support, Field Service Engineers, and Customer Service Advocate teams to coordinate delivery activities
  • •Analyze network designs to enable consistent deployment and in-service upgrades of network equipment
  • •Translate network designs into solution designs for new builds, reconfiguration, and network upgrade projects
  • •Gather and analyze customer network data to develop migration strategies for transition onto platform solutions

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related field
  • •Not more than 1 year of experience in a related discipline
  • •Application of Layer 0/1 optical or transmission technologies and/or
  • •Application of Layer 2-3 networking concepts including IP protocols
  • •Application of scripting or DevOps tools such as Python, Java, or Ansible
