Job Summary

Lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the Agentic Platform at Databricks, the foundational layer enabling domain workspaces (GTM, Finance, HR, Legal, Product) to build production-grade agentic applications. Drive agent runtime, MCP connectors, intelligence layer, evaluation framework, and developer experience to reduce time-to-production while ensuring security, reliability and enterprise scalability.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the Agentic Platform strategy and roadmap, translating organizational outcomes into concrete platform capabilities with measurable success criteria.
•Define and drive the agent runtime and governance, including multi-step orchestration, model gateway abstraction, and guarded per-agent policies.
•Build the MCP connector ecosystem, enabling bidirectional connectors to systems of record and onboard new systems without platform changes.
•Define the intelligence layer with a three-layer data architecture (knowledge graph, context graph, temporal memory) and unified retrieval across vector, structured, and graph sources.
•Ship the AI-evaluation framework (offline/online evaluation, domain-specific judges, CI/CD gates) to ensure production-ready AI services.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 172,200 - 258,400 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years on internal platform, infrastructure, or developer-experience products.
•Deep experience building platforms that other teams build on, with strong opinions about API design, developer ergonomics, and self-service.
•Demonstrated experience with AI/ML platforms, agent frameworks, LLM-powered applications, or agentic systems.
•Strong technical foundation, ability to read architecture diagrams, discuss trade-offs with engineers, and prioritize deeply technical work.
•Experience defining and shipping developer experiences: SDKs, CLIs, templates, documentation, and self-service workflows.
