Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data for substation components, equipment specifications, and IFR/IRC design and review processes.
  • •Support design work including single line/three line drawings, wiring diagrams, substation layout and bus arrangement, grounding grid design, and lightning protection.
  • •Perform routine engineering assistance for equipment sizing, AC/DC panel design, and conduit and trenching design strategies.
  • •Under close supervision, develop electrical calculations for loads, feeder sizing, voltage drop, grounding, lighting circuits and controls, and power distribution.
  • •Generate complete documentation using electronic systems and drawings, and comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures.
