Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver full breadth CYB non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling to eligible children and youth.
  • •Provide assessments, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referrals with linkage, and follow-up as indicated.
  • •Provide parent training and guidance, and conduct training/health and wellness presentations and participate in health fairs and installation activities.
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily through a smartphone or web application to ensure accurate reporting while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity.
  • •Coordinate with installation and program points of contact and support duty-to-warn/restricted reporting situations; participate in supervision, in-services/training, and quality improvement initiatives.

Salary: USD 59,922 - 100,280

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree from an accredited graduate program in a mental health related field.
  • •Valid unrestricted independent counseling license that grants authority to provide counseling as an independent practitioner.
  • •Minimum two years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • •Demonstrate intermediate-level competencies in technology and software (Microsoft Suite, internet navigation, smartphone/tablet, and video-conferencing platform navigation).
  • •Ability to prove US citizenship, be fluent in English, and pass CNACI and an Installation Records Check, criminal history background check, and FBI fingerprints check.
