Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate audio consoles during live shows, match broadcasts, studio recordings, and special productions
  • •Route audio sources across consoles, patch bays, and digital/NDI systems; conduct pre-show sound checks and rehearsals
  • •Monitor audio levels, loudness standards, phase alignment, and sync with video; resolve issues such as noise, distortion, feedback, and dropouts
  • •Work with producers to interpret rundown cues, timing, and specific audio requirements; collaborate with engineering teams to maintain audio infrastructure
  • •Assist with audio setups for field shoots, interviews, mixed zones, and remote productions; operate portable recorders, wireless systems, and field mixers

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or technical training in Audio Engineering, Broadcasting, Audiovisual Production, or related fields
  • •Experience operating audio consoles in live production environments (TV, streaming, events, or sports)
  • •Proficiency with digital audio consoles (e.g., Yamaha, Behringer, Avid, or similar)
  • •Understanding of microphones, wireless systems, IFB, intercoms, and monitoring setups
  • •Knowledge of audio standards: loudness, EQ, compression, routing, sync
