Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Payments product roadmap for the operational backbone of the Payments product.
  • •Work with Finance, Engineering, and Operations to optimize settlement, billing, commissions, reconciliation, and related platform services.
  • •Define weekly goals and milestones for the Payments product squad.
  • •Shape product direction by determining where roadmap areas should go and why.
  • •Identify opportunities to turn internal tools (e.g., reconciliation) into customer-facing products.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience designing and improving payments-related systems such as settlement, reconciliation, commissions, FX, and chargebacks.
  • •Ability to build internal product systems (e.g., automated commission flows, supplier reconciliation, billing) rather than only configuring payment rails.
  • •Can translate between Finance and Engineering by converting finance narratives into technical requirements and vice versa.
  • •Strong product prioritization for a small, in-demand team; decide what matters now and de-prioritize the rest.
  • •Comfort discussing APIs and system behavior with engineering, even without writing code.
