Key Responsibilities

•Build agents that investigate incidents and surface anomalies.
•Write a library of reusable skills and capture how the team debugs and resolves issues so agents can pick the right playbook.
•Own the agent stack end-to-end, including context engineering, tools, evals, tracing, and cost.
•Build MCP servers, SDKs, and integrations to let customers’ agents read telemetry and take action.
•Collaborate with OSS contributors and customers, debugging problems together and feeding learnings back into the product.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of software engineering experience, including 1–2 years on LLM-powered systems or agents in production.
•Strong backend skills in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python; comfortable in both.
•Hands-on experience building agents: multi-step tool use, planning, memory, error recovery; shipped them and managed failure modes.
•Experience designing skills (Markdown-based workflow encodings) and deciding when a skill, a tool, or both is appropriate.
•Experience with MCP: building servers, designing tools, and thinking through auth, scoping, and observability for agentic systems.
