Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the technical design of electrical building services systems under guidance from experienced engineers.
  • •Undertake system load calculations and assist with plant sizing.
  • •Support coordination and sizing of plant rooms and distribution routes.
  • •Prepare technical reports and assist with developing technical specifications for selected systems and equipment.
  • •Assist with site inspections and monitoring installations during construction and commissioning.

Key Requirements

  • •An accredited Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • •Degree accreditation by a relevant professional institution such as CIBSE, IET, or IMechE is preferred.
  • •A strong interest in building services, sustainable design, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
  • •Relevant experience through internships, placements, work experience, or project-based activities is advantageous.
  • •Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
