Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the deployment lifecycle: tactical planning, site surveying, installation, and configuration of hardware and software suites in austere/hazard zones.
  • •Ensure operational readiness by preparing personnel, equipment, and logistical pipelines for rapid deployments on short notice.
  • •Directly manage and mentor a team of Technical Operations Engineers and technicians, driving technical excellence and accountability in the field.
  • •Escalate and troubleshoot complex technical failures on-site across mesh networking, RF spectrum interference, power distribution, and software integration.
  • •Act as the primary operational point of contact for tactical customers and embed to train military operators while ensuring mission-aligned deployment (CONOP).

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of leadership experience in tactical, austere, or high-threat environments (e.g., military deployment, defense contracting, expeditionary government operations, or disaster response).
  • •Proven experience with complex hardware/software integrations, including working knowledge of IP networking, RF communications, power systems, and Windows/Linux environments.
  • •Lead safely and effectively in ambiguity with a high-agency mindset when plans fail.
  • •Experience moving sensitive equipment and people through complex global supply chains and customs processes into remote areas.
  • •Must possess an active US Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred), with ability to travel to international hazard zones/austere environments up to 50–60% of the year.
