Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure a safe work environment and comply with safety policies, procedures, and OSHA/MSHA regulations using the proper tools and equipment.
  • •Diagnose equipment defects and perform repairs, including rebuilding and maintaining heavy construction equipment.
  • •Dismantle and reassemble equipment components using hoists and hand power tools, and inspect parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
  • •Replace defective parts and sub-assemblies (e.g., engines, transmissions, electric motors, hydraulic pumps/valves, seals, pistons, rods, gears) and test overhauled equipment for efficiency.
  • •Weld broken parts and structural members, keep records of time and parts used, and assist maintenance staff with additional duties as assigned.

Key Requirements
