Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; diagnose issues using data from hundreds of makes and models.
  • •Perform maintenance and repair on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for rental and customer-owned equipment and tools.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and stay knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
  • •Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed daily, including work orders.
  • •Assist with pickup and delivery of equipment and parts; travel to customer job sites for repairs/maintenance when required; assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools, plus extensive construction equipment knowledge and schematics/diagrams understanding.
  • •Strong customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, with field service/maintenance/repair experience preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; safety-sensitive position requiring a 10-panel drug screen.
