Job Summary

Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment during the night shift, including changeovers, preventive maintenance, and repairs. Spend the majority of time on the floor supporting safe, efficient, and quality processing. Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, service hydraulics, and troubleshoot pneumatic systems, while adhering to GMP and SQF and supporting food safety compliance. Respond to emergencies, maintain security diligence for facility access, and prevent nonconforming product from shipment.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in changeovers, machine PM, and repairs while spending about 95% of time on the production floor.
•Work with the shift supervisor to maintain machines in safe, efficient, and quality process condition.
•Complete shift handover process and record maintenance information in the maintenance log or designated location.
•Perform maintenance including basic electrical troubleshooting, identifying relief valves, servicing hydraulics, and troubleshooting pneumatic systems.
•Adhere to GMP and SQF requirements, support food safety compliance, respond to emergencies, and assist in preventing nonconforming product from shipment.

Key Requirements

•Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
•Experience troubleshooting pneumatic systems.
•Working knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) requirements.
•Ability to read electrical prints and perform basic electrical troubleshooting of machinery.
•Prior forklift certification is required, and experience with Nissei/AOKI/Uniloy/SIPA or resin and blending systems is a plus.
