Key Responsibilities

  • •Design thrust chamber and injector propulsion hardware in CAD, from concept layout to detailed design.
  • •Perform structural stress analysis (hand calculations and FEA) to substantiate margins of safety under mechanical, thermal, and pressure loads.
  • •Select materials and define manufacturing processes with manufacturing engineering, accounting for structural, thermal, and producibility constraints.
  • •Maintain interface definitions, drawings, part datasets, and configuration control/traceability throughout development.
  • •Support manufacturing, inspection, and test correlation, including model updates and troubleshooting root causes for anomalies.

Pay and Benefits

Perks:Relocation

Key Requirements

  • •A minimum bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
  • •Over 1 year of related experience in CAD design and stress analysis of mechanical or structural hardware, ideally in propulsion/aerospace/high-reliability environments.
  • •Strong CAD skills to take parts from concept to detailed, manufacturable design.
  • •Solid stress-analysis grounding, including hand calculations and FEA (e.g., Ansys, Abaqus or equivalent).
  • •Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, additive manufacturing, and welding/brazing, and how they affect design and structural performance.
