Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively work with Bankers to make independent credit decisions aligned to the bank’s credit appetite.
  • •Analyze available information and develop action plans covering repayment capacity, collateral, borrower/guarantor character and experience, and policy adherence.
  • •Demonstrate knowledge of credit products (loans, ACH, LCs, SWAPs) and consumer/business customer types, asset classes, and industries.
  • •Assist with education, training, and mentoring of Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers on the credit process.
  • •Participate in credit quality control document reviews and support complex credit underwriting, structuring, and closing with Regional leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree; Finance, Accounting, or Economics strongly preferred.
  • •Minimum 10+ years of banking experience with at least 4 years in a meaningful credit role.
  • •Ability to perform advanced ratio analysis and underwriting using mathematical concepts.
  • •Strong computer skills including spreadsheets, databases, and presentation tools.
  • •Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information and handle delicate situations professionally.
