Key Responsibilities

  • •Support and oversee a team developing and implementing operational risk management programs such as process mapping, controls testing, and issue management.
  • •Lead process mapping walkthroughs to document end-to-end workflows, identify key risks and controls, assess process gaps, and support continuous improvement.
  • •Execute second line of defense enterprise and operational risk programs, including identification and testing of controls, and provide guidance and challenge to the first line.
  • •Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and the GRC platform, contributing to design, configuration, development, testing, implementation, integrations, and production support.
  • •Prepare reports and dashboards, maintain workflows and validation rules, monitor GRC performance and troubleshoot defects, including coordinating user acceptance testing.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in risk and/or compliance.
  • •6+ years of experience testing technical controls in financial institutions.
  • •Previous controls testing and/or audit experience in areas such as deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, or other banking products.
  • •Advanced knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or military experience; 2+ years in a supervisory role.
