Develop and execute environmental test procedures for spacecraft components, subsystems, and products, supporting qualification and acceptance testing. Serve as the primary point of support for environmental test equipment and processes, create test procedures and technician SOPs, and troubleshoot issues to implement corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement to increase throughput and enable automation, while serving as a technical subject matter expert for environmental testing.

•Serve as primary support for environmental test equipment and maintain responsibility for spacecraft hardware test execution.
•Create spacecraft hardware test procedures, ensure test readiness, and unblock issues during qualification and acceptance campaigns.
•Develop standard operating procedures for environmental test technicians.
•Improve manufacturing test efficiency to maximize output and reduce lead time/labor hours, including qualification of test equipment and processes.
•Troubleshoot environmental test process issues and implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent technical education) in engineering/engineering technology, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Experience working with thermal chambers, TVAC chambers, and/or vibration shakers.
•Experience authoring test procedures and implementing process improvements.
•Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance with U.S. Citizenship required.
•Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study (ABET preferred, not required).
