Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
  • •Assist service members with creating spending plans for extended absences.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; associate degree plus 4 years’ experience or a high school diploma plus 6 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s.
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •If required by the contract, must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • •Must have one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the OCI process.
