Key Responsibilities

  • •Utilize Excel, SharePoint, and M-tech to enter and track quality data.
  • •Conduct bacterial plating across hatchery locations (e.g., hatchers, setters, hallways, egg room, Embrex machine).
  • •Determine embryonic age via residue breakouts and assess embryonic temperatures prior to transfer and inside incubators.
  • •Calibrate and monitor temperatures of setters, hatchers, hallways, and egg rooms; weight eggs for moisture loss at set/transfer/hatch.
  • •Support chick quality assessments per flock, perform weekly egg quality checks and candling for fertility, and back up the Chick Room Lead for vaccine mixing and daily chick book-out.

Key Requirements

  • •Entry-level role; no degree experience required.
  • •Minimum 2 years related experience preferred to substitute for degree.
  • •Ability to use Excel spreadsheets and enter key data into online SharePoint and the M-tech system.
  • •Strong organizational skills to keep accurate documentation of QA checks performed.
  • •Ability to manage time to complete all weekly tasks timely.
