Job Summary

Prepare quantity estimates using material, labor, and overhead costs and manage awarded construction projects from bid through completion. Bid and coordinate multiple concurrent jobs, perform earthwork/demolition/utility estimating with quantity take-off, pricing, crew production, and scheduling, and visit sites weekly to monitor progress. Track project profit/loss through weekly cost reviews, manage schedules, billings, change orders, subcontractors, vendors, and support customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

•Bid and manage multiple jobs concurrently.
•Prepare quantity estimates using material, labor, and overhead costs for awarded projects.
•Visit project sites weekly to monitor progress, update schedules, and review costs with the Project Superintendent.
•Manage profit/loss through weekly cost reviews.
•Oversee awarded projects: safety practices, schedules, monthly billings, job cost review, change orders, and subcontractor/vendor oversight.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
•Five+ years construction estimating experience is preferred (or equivalent education and experience).
•Experience estimating earthwork, demolition, and utility projects, including quantity take-off, pricing, crew production, and scheduling.
•Ability to bid and manage multiple jobs concurrently.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Bid 2 Win, Trimble Business Center, Plan Swift, and ViewPoint.
