Job Summary

Join WSP’s Abu Dhabi team to support the planning, geometric design, and technical delivery of roads and highway infrastructure projects across the UAE. You’ll develop concept through detailed road designs, prepare calculations, reports, drawings, and tender inputs, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (utilities, drainage, structures, traffic) to deliver compliant, sustainable solutions aligned to local authority and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Undertake geometric design and technical delivery of roads, highways, interchanges, and transportation infrastructure projects.
•Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design drawings, and project documentation.
•Develop concept, preliminary, and detailed road designs in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
•Coordinate with utilities, drainage, structures, traffic, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated delivery.
•Support design reviews and stakeholder meetings, liaise with clients/authorities, and assist in resolving technical issues.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
•5-10 years of experience in road and highway design projects.
•Experience delivering transportation, roads, and infrastructure projects within engineering consultancy environments.
•Strong knowledge of geometric road design principles and highway engineering standards.
•Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with experience against AASHTO and DMRB (plus Abu Dhabi/UAE road design standards).
