Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate vehicles according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely along required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment, including returning equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain invoices and shipping paperwork; deliver documentation and perform routine service checks while reporting maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated.
  • •Pass background and drug testing as required by federal/state DOT regulations, and complete a DOT physical for vehicles over 10k lbs.
  • •Be at least 21 years old and maintain a clean driving record.
  • •Ability to remain focused in a busy environment and speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff.
  • •Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and handle prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab.
