Key Responsibilities

  • •After completing the 14-week Graduate Training Program, assume Associate Account Manager responsibilities specializing in equipment, services, or controls in a predetermined office location.
  • •Sell HVAC equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
  • •Work with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers on design, application, and sale of equipment, controls, parts, and services.
  • •Build and strengthen customer relationships by identifying and understanding needs throughout the full sales cycle.
  • •Develop sales strategies using market analysis, create and execute sales plans for the territory, and meet sales quotas through securing design wins and managing the sales channel.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (open to all engineering areas of emphasis), graduated prior to the start date of the Graduate Training Program.
  • •Passion for continuous learning in technical fields to understand and communicate engineering solutions.
  • •Ability to commence in-office work 3 months prior to the GTP start date and/or prior internship experience at Trane Technologies.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with proof of insurance and no major/frequent traffic violations (including specified disqualifying offenses).
