Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and improve core product features like budgeting, goals, and reports across web and mobile.
  • •Develop growth product experiences, including rapid experimentation, A/B testing, and onboarding improvements to drive engagement and retention.
  • •Own the aggregation layer that safely and accurately connects and delivers users’ financial data into Monarch.
  • •Work on infrastructure and developer tooling to help teams ship faster and more reliably.
  • •Strengthen security and privacy posture by supporting teams in maintaining security-focused practices and improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •A product-centric mindset and pride in building experiences people love.
  • •Experience with (or strong interest in learning) the Monarch tech stack across front-end, back-end, and API/data layers.
  • •Front-end experience with React/TypeScript, React Native, and Apollo (GraphQL).
  • •Back-end experience with Python/Django, GraphQL/Graphene, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
  • •Comfort working across the entire stack with autonomy, ambiguity, and collaborative communication in a remote environment.
