Job Summary

Support manufacturing process development, validation, and improvement for rotating and structural propulsion engine components in a greenfield environment. Execute NPI activities from prototype builds through production readiness, including ramp-up, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Provide design-to-manufacture feedback, run tolerance analysis and process/material trade studies, and support shop-floor trials plus technical interactions with suppliers for part qualification and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, validate, and improve machining and fabrication processes for rotating and structural engine components.
•Apply hands-on machining/fabrication expertise (e.g., turning, milling, multi-axis machining, grinding, broaching, welding) and support manufacturing documentation.
•Support NPI activities from prototype build through production readiness, including ramp-up and troubleshooting.
•Provide design-to-manufacture input via concurrent engineering and design reviews, including manufacturability feedback.
•Assist with supplier and shop-floor support for process development, trials, production builds, and part qualification issue resolution.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
•3+ years of experience in aerospace or propulsion manufacturing.
•Hands-on experience in machining and/or fabrication of rotating and structural engine components.
•Experience supporting NPI, prototype builds, or production environments.
•Proficiency in CAD/CAM systems and hands-on CNC programming for manufacturing process definition and toolpath development.
