Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • •Monitor and test application performance, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with developers to implement fixes.
  • •Optimize software/firmware systems for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.
  • •Gather infrastructure component system engineering requirements with engineering groups and stakeholders.
  • •Lead multiple teams across the design and development lifecycle for complex products/platforms, provide design review feedback, and mentor less-experienced staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, or related discipline (or commensurate work experience).
  • •Typically 7-10 years of work experience in systems engineering, computer programming, or related fields.
  • •8+ years of firmware development/architecture experience.
  • •Experience with BIOS/UEFI and embedded systems, including embedded Linux and device drivers.
  • •Security firmware experience and knowledge of secure boot and firmware update architecture.
