Key Responsibilities

  • •Resolve complex customer problems related to Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and other open source software.
  • •Maintain close working relationships with Canonical’s Field, Support, and product engineering teams.
  • •Develop bug fixes and backport patches, working with upstream communities for inclusion.
  • •Participate in upstream communities and review code produced by other engineers.
  • •Drive issues to resolution using workarounds, guidance, and upstream bug fixes while managing priorities and communicating clearly.

Key Requirements

  • •Background in Computer Science, STEM, or similar with an exceptional academic track record.

  • •Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
