Job Summary

Serve as a senior individual contributor overseeing fund operating expenses across Invesco mutual funds, ETFs, collective trusts, and partnerships in North America. Own expense assurance for budgets, accruals, and invoices; strengthen internal controls (including SOX); and provide advisory support to product teams and the Office of the Fund CFO. Partner with third-party administrators and auditors, deliver board-level reporting, and modernize processes using data analysis, automation, and AI-enabled tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Own assurance over fund operating expenses, including budgets, accruals, invoices, and expense-related financial/regulatory reporting.
•Ensure expenses are accurate, reasonable, and aligned with governing documents, regulatory requirements, and internal control standards.
•Maintain and enhance an internal control framework, including SOX-related controls, and assess errors, incidents, and remediation plans.
•Provide analytical and advisory support for new products, fund changes, and expense initiatives, including board-level reporting.
•Oversee invoice management and funding processes; resolve exceptions and step in on time-sensitive matters as needed.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of accounting or fund administration experience with meaningful exposure to the fund industry.
•Strong understanding of fund operating expenses, accruals, and financial/regulatory reporting.
•Experience working with third-party administrators and auditors.
•Background in controls, SOX, or assurance activities (preferred).
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent industry experience); CPA/CFA/MBA credentials are a plus.
