Job Summary

Maintenance Technician performs project work, unplanned repairs, and preventive maintenance on facility systems and production equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations. Conducts scheduled maintenance on electrical/mechanical equipment, troubleshoots and repairs, and collaborates with Engineers to improve equipment and processes. Works with HVAC, chilled water, gases and security/safety systems in an onsite facility, with priority setting and strong customer-facing skills for a 1st shift role.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform project work, unplanned repairs, and preventive maintenance on facility systems and production equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations
•Perform scheduled maintenance on electrical/mechanical equipment used in the production process to maximize machine uptime
•Troubleshoot and repair equipment; work with Engineers to improve performance of equipment/processes
•Involved with facility related processes including HVAC, chilled water, compressed gases, and security/safety systems
•Maintain records and complete necessary paperwork; set priorities under general direction based on workload

Key Requirements

•HS Diploma or GED with 2 years relevant experience
•U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government security clearance
•Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
•Must lift/carry up to 50 lbs; read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
•Furnish own hand tools; CET Associate exam score required
