Key Responsibilities

  • •Support FMDM to deliver the maintenance business plan for your area of responsibility.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and contractors to deliver maintenance efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop the engineering technicians and tradesmen while meeting legislative, health and safety governance requirements.
  • •Ensure compliance, safety, and assurance requirements are delivered, including compliance audits and delivery of statutory records.
  • •Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across the campus and support budgets for revenue and capital spend, including carbon reduction initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 39,200 - 60,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience in retail or distribution maintenance with proven success leading multi-skilled teams and delivering cost efficiencies.
  • •Strong leadership skills focused on process development, team motivation, and building effective internal/external relationships.
  • •Comprehensive site safety knowledge, managing audits and statutory records (H&S legislation, Legionella, LOLER, PUWER, Fire Safety).
  • •Technical expertise in CDM application, Building Management Systems, and CAFM platforms for PPM/reactive works (specifically Opuz).
  • •Time-served Electrician (or equivalent HVAC qualification) with a NEBOSH certification (or equivalent in general site safety).
