Job Summary

Join Visa’s Storage Operations Team within Global Systems Support to maintain, secure, and ensure availability of Storage and SAN infrastructure. Support and certify storage/backup environments, perform Level 2 escalations, and handle provisioning, replication, disaster recovery, migrations, and documentation. Use SRE principles and infrastructure-as-code automation to reduce repetitive work, demonstrate deep expertise across SAN/NAS/backup, and participate in on-call and scheduled shift days.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain, secure, and ensure availability of Storage and SAN infrastructure while following operational, security, and procedural models.
•Automate infrastructure tasks using SRE principles and infrastructure-as-code to reduce repetitive processes.
•Perform complex provisioning, advanced maintenance, data replication, disaster recovery, data migration, and documentation for storage and backup environments.
•Support complex storage and backup devices (SAN/NAS/backup solutions) across tiers with minimal supervision.
•Participate in on-call support and scheduled shift days to support the infrastructure and systems.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field is preferred.
•0.5–3.5 years of commercial experience in an associate level role.
•Experience working in an infrastructure support role and/or a keen interest in storage infrastructure support.
•Interest in scripting/coding to automate infrastructure tasks.
•Experience with UNIX (Linux, AIX, Solaris), VMware or other hypervisors, and Windows operating environments.
