Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop advanced process parameters to enable complex geometries with enhanced material properties
  • •Investigate sources of machine variability and develop methods to eliminate observed variability
  • •Execute and oversee development builds on various Additive Manufacturing machines
  • •Collaborate with internal and external groups to develop whitepapers, project concepts, and responsive proposals
  • •Develop machine installation, machine operation, and part qualification processes and standards

Key Requirements

  • •University Engineering Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience
  • •Experience with Additive Manufacturing tools and processes
  • •Scripting experience with Matlab, Python, VBA, JavaScript or similar
  • •Hands-on experience with metal laser powder-bed-fusion AM equipment
  • •Basic understanding of low voltage sensors and control systems
