Job Summary

Maintain and support SAP Enterprise Portal (EP) and SAP Business Warehouse (BW) capabilities for end users. You’ll manage portal roles, permissions, and content (iViews, pages, layouts), apply patches and upgrades, and troubleshoot login/navigation/connection issues. For BW, you’ll monitor daily ETL loads, tune performance for faster reporting using DataStore Objects and InfoCubes, repair failed data chains, and integrate BW data with the EP so reports display in web browsers.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain SAP Enterprise Portal (EP) user management, including creating and managing roles, groups, and permissions.
•Apply software patches and upgrades to keep the portal secure and functioning properly.
•Create and update EP content such as iViews, pages, and layouts.
•Troubleshoot EP login errors, navigation issues, and connection problems between the portal and back-end systems while monitoring server health and logs.
•Maintain SAP BW by monitoring daily ETL loads, tuning queries and data structures (DataStore Objects, InfoCubes), fixing failed loads, and integrating BW data with EP for web-based report viewing.

Key Requirements

•Experience maintaining SAP Enterprise Portal (EP), including user management, roles/groups, and permissions.
•Experience applying SAP software patches and upgrades and supporting ongoing portal operations.
•Strong troubleshooting skills for EP issues such as login errors, navigation problems, and portal-to-backend connection issues.
•Experience maintaining SAP Business Warehouse (BW), including monitoring ETL/data loads and fixing failed loads and broken data chains.
•Hands-on knowledge of BW performance tuning using DataStore Objects and InfoCubes, plus integrating BW data with EP reporting.
