Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform tasks across workstations (ovens, kitting, paper cutter/slitting, hot press/squeeze and bake, thermal fold, assembly weld booth, material handling) to support transformer coil production.
  • •Verify material size/part number/condition/quantity, match coils and cores, gather small parts, and prepare/distribute materials for coil winding operators.
  • •Assemble kits for coil orders and stock bins; weld low voltage leads and cut copper leads and ground straps based on process release orders.
  • •Compress coils using hydraulic jacks or presses, load/unload onto conveyors/pallets/racks, inspect units, and scan/load them into bake ovens.
  • •Enforce LOTO and safety protocols, operate forklift/pallet jack and overhead cranes/hoisting equipment as needed, maintain 5S housekeeping, and meet production-rate/output goals.
