Job Summary

Lead electrical design and technical delivery for data centre and mission-critical projects, owning work across feasibility, concept, scheme, detailed design through construction support, commissioning, and handover. Define power architectures and deliver power systems studies and protection design using tools such as ETAP/SKM. Key Responsibilities

•Own electrical design across feasibility, concept, scheme, and detailed design through procurement support, construction, commissioning, and handover.
•Define and validate power architectures covering utility intake, MV/LV distribution, UPS topologies, generators, switchgear, PDUs, STS, busway, earthing, and lighting.
•Lead power systems studies and protection design, including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc-flash, and harmonic analysis using tools such as ETAP/SKM.
•Integrate monitoring and controls (BMS/EPMS/SCADA), metering strategies, and resilience features aligned to availability objectives (e.g., Tier II–IV).
•Embed decarbonization and energy-efficiency measures, assure compliance with applicable standards/codes and client specifications, and coordinate multi-disciplinary interfaces.

Key Requirements

•Experience delivering electrical project work across data centres and mission-critical environments.
•Proven experience leading data centre (DC) project work streams in the UK and preferably across EMEA.
•Hyperscale and/or multi-site program experience, including fast-track and design-build environments.
•Demonstrable client-facing and work-winning experience, with strong commercial acumen and experience managing project financials.
•Ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams, with excellent written and verbal communication.
