Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide and coordinate patient care, educating patients and families while offering advice and emotional support.
  • •Assess and re-assess patients, analyze assessment data, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop and evaluate care plans with the interprofessional team.
  • •Record vital signs, recognize and address abnormalities, administer medications/treatments, and monitor for side effects and reactions.
  • •Perform essential life support and ICU procedures within scope, including invasive line insertion and critical interventions (e.g., CRRT, haemodialysis).
  • •Maintain accurate patient documentation, follow reporting mechanisms/chain of command, and support safe admission, transfer, and discharge.

Key Requirements

  • •Appropriate license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority, with required qualifications and experience.
  • •Manage own professional re-licensure.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
  • •Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • •Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
