Job Summary

Oversee safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of asphalt plant(s) and regional paving operations. Lead production, quality control, crew management, and logistics coordination to deliver projects on time and within budget. Champion a safety-first culture, ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA/DOT and environmental requirements, manage budgets and KPIs, and develop plant operators and paving crews.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safety-first culture by enforcing CRH safety policies and conducting audits, inspections, and training for plant and field personnel.
•Oversee daily asphalt plant(s) and paving operations, including planning production schedules to meet project timelines and demand.
•Monitor plant performance, equipment utilization, and operational efficiency; coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
•Manage quality control by ensuring asphalt mix designs meet DOT specifications and customer requirements and resolving quality issues with teams.
•Lead financial and team performance by managing budgets, tracking KPIs, supporting forecasting/bidding, and conducting performance evaluations and workforce planning.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
•5+ years of experience in asphalt plant operations, paving, or construction materials.
•2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
•Strong knowledge of asphalt production, mix designs, and paving practices.
•Familiarity with safety regulations (MSHA/OSHA) and environmental compliance, plus a valid driver’s license.
