Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in the Risk Appetite Framework (RAF) refresh and align International Legal Entities technology risk metrics with Enterprise metrics.
  • •Collaborate with 2LOD risk teams to challenge 1LOD teams and speak to the technology risk profile based on aggregation and reporting.
  • •Serve as main point of contact for Technology Risk for the LE regulator, Audit, and ILE leadership; represent Technology Risk in LE committees and board meetings as required.
  • •Advise the business on the applicability and effective execution of technology risk frameworks and policies, supporting ILE deployment and Enterprise alignment.
  • •Coordinate regulatory change management and second line testing activities, including review of technology risk questionnaires and oversight of incident communications requiring regulatory notification (e.g., DORA).

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of leadership experience in risk management or a similar role.
  • •Experience interacting with regulators and familiarity with the Spanish and European regulatory landscape for technology, data, cybersecurity, resilience, and AI risks.
  • •Working understanding of relevant frameworks and requirements, including DORA, GDPR, and the EU Artificial Intelligence Act/AI Regulation Framework, plus Spanish and EU data protection requirements.
  • •Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, frameworks, and industry standards.
  • •Experience with GRC tools (e.g., Archer / ServiceNow).
