Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform traffic engineering investigations and inspections of roadway and intersection conditions to determine conformance with standards and permits.
  • •Conduct the signal/intersection design process to meet codes, stakeholder requirements, and project design standards.
  • •Coordinate with US teams on implementing task orders and act as key point of contact for signal design tasks.
  • •Provide technical guidance to contractors and construction teams, address design-related issues, and ensure field changes comply with design intent.
  • •Deliver final project deliverables (As-Builts and O&M Manuals) and provide risk-management feedback during design and into construction.

Key Requirements

  • •Masters in Transportation Engineering (or equivalent) and postgraduate education.
  • •8+ years’ post education experience in an engineering discipline with prior traffic design experience.
  • •Proficient with traffic engineering standards and guidelines including MUTCD, Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), AASHTO Green Book, and AASHTO Roadside Design Guide.
  • •Experience managing whole or part of signal designing projects and coordinating with agency regulators.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD (including AutoTurn and GuideSign) and Microstation (preferred), plus MS Office (Word and Excel).
