Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement high-performance networking code for the Zero Trust desktop client across multiple desktop platforms.
  • •Improve code quality by building testable, well-documented foundations and reducing complexity.
  • •Contribute to the design and implementation of major development projects with product managers and other teams.
  • •Own technical designs end-to-end, including writing specs and design docs that coordinate work across engineers and teams.
  • •Debug and resolve complex issues spanning team and system boundaries while maintaining high standards for performance, security, and quality.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth knowledge of Windows internals and networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, QUIC, H/3, and proxying).
  • •Experience with low-level Windows driver development, ideally network drivers.
  • •Strong programming skills in lower-level languages such as Rust, C, and C++, with a focus on high-quality, low-complexity code and thorough documentation.
  • •Strong experience writing easily-testable code, including using dependency injection with appropriate abstractions.
  • •Experience debugging complex network-related issues and resolving problems across team and system boundaries.
