Key Responsibilities

  • •Witness testing of gas measurement equipment at purchase points and ensure equipment meets standards and is properly documented.
  • •Perform installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and minor repairs for gas detection, odor detection, pressure, and air monitoring instrumentation.
  • •Maintain equipment lifecycle tracking, vendor coordination for external calibration/repair, and “out of service” logs and records.
  • •Collect and analyze natural gas samples on scheduled and emergency bases; evaluate gas composition data and prepare technical reports.
  • •Respond to emergency events to collect/analyze field samples and provide timely reporting and communication to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of experience (equivalent education/experience considered).
  • •Knowledge of gas detection equipment, pressure instrumentation, and calibration techniques.
  • •Understanding of natural gas distribution systems, safety practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • •Ability to perform technical work involving gas detection, pressure monitoring, air quality instrumentation, and natural gas sampling/analysis.
  • •Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, including emergency response readiness.
