Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Wise and complex financial systems.
  • •Develop scalable, repeatable network architecture with complex regulatory requirements.
  • •Analyze infrastructure to identify inefficiencies and problems, then create automation and optimization improvements.
  • •Collaborate with Platform Engineering and product engineering teams on globally impactful projects.
  • •Communicate with stakeholders, plan roadmaps, and influence technology direction and third-party implementation quality.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong networking fundamentals and experience supporting complex deployments (TCP/IP, routing/switching, traffic load balancing/ECMP, firewalls, IPsec, GRE, Network ACLs, BGP).
  • •Experience with SRE and network automation using IaaC and tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Netconf, Python, CI/CD, telemetry).
  • •Hands-on familiarity with cloud networking concepts, preferably AWS (VPC, transit gateways, Direct Connect, VPC peering).
  • •Ability to develop and document network designs and translate business requirements into explainable technical solutions.
  • •Strong communication and collaboration; experience leading technical projects or a small team is a plus.
