Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive sustainable revenue growth, new-to-bank acquisition, and business development across the US–Türkiye corridor and target sectors using HSBC’s network.
  • •Collaborate with risk, product partners, and global relationship managers to grow revenue and profitability through proactive business development and strategic engagement.
  • •Motivate and lead the team with strategic and day-to-day direction, acquiring and growing client relationships and meeting transactional and funding needs.
  • •Build deep understanding of client businesses, corridors, and industries to generate insights, enrich conversations, and deliver fair outcomes.
  • •Safeguard the lending book quality by maintaining credit standards and compliance, minimizing operational and credit banking risks while ensuring customer experience and appropriate products/services.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven banking experience with international corporate clients, including origination and business development, with preferred experience across other geographies.
  • •Proven track record managing teams, including driving team strategy and culture, people development/mentorship, and high-performance leadership.
  • •Strong banking experience in a senior role with exposure to corporate lending, credit structures, risk assessment, cash and payment solutions, and trade finance.
  • •Proven strategic thinker with a track record developing and implementing market-leading strategies and originating business across investment banking, financing, Markets, and flow products.
  • •Knowledge of Türkiye’s regulatory framework, economy, and growth trajectory, with strong credit assessment skills for complex and structured facilities.
