Key Responsibilities

•Lead and enable the Cost Engineering team in Singapore to drive competitor teardowns and Design-to-Cost activities.
•Establish and govern state-of-the-art Cost & Value Engineering methods and processes.
•Plan and assign resources for competitor teardown/benchmarks.
•Plan, prepare, and lead Design-to-Cost workshops.
•Lead and guide the Design-to-Cost team to support Should Cost analyses and negotiations.

Key Requirements

•A degree in Engineering with experiences in process and part optimization (electronics and/or mechanics).
•Demonstrated team leadership experience.

•Deep knowledge of manufacturing technologies and understanding of cost and margin structures of purchased and in-house manufactured parts.
•Ability to plan and lead cost management activities, including Should Cost analyses and negotiations.
