Job Summary

Lead delivery excellence for complex upstream and midstream oil & gas projects in Iraq by managing project scope, schedule, cost, and risk. Own project execution and governance, including change management, reporting to senior leadership and customers, and HSSE leadership. Establish execution plans, track financial performance, and guide a multidiscipline team across offices and sites. Coach stakeholders and suppliers to drive successful, safe project completion.

Key Responsibilities

•Create delivery excellence across assigned projects by controlling scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
•Specify and coordinate implementation and completion, ensuring safe delivery, quality targets, and effective risk management.
•Negotiate and manage changes to scope/specification with the customer using change management processes.
•Establish and lead production of project execution plans (scope, deliverables, master schedule, budget, org charts, risk register) and report progress to senior management and/or customers.
•Lead ongoing risk identification and mitigation and provide project HSSE leadership for initiatives and auditing schedules.

Key Requirements

•University degree in a relevant discipline.
•Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Project Management (APM) or equivalent certification is preferred.
•Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
•Proven project management experience with a strong understanding of business issues and project technical scopes with commercial aspects.
•Good stakeholder management, able to coach and advise others in this area.
