Job Summary

Own global sourcing strategy for electromechanical actuators and motors, driving cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience. Lead end-to-end sourcing activities (RFI/RFQ/RFP), supplier relationships with contract manufacturing, and quote/TCO analysis. Partner with engineering to shape technical specs and manufacturing requirements, negotiate supplier agreements, manage performance metrics, and escalate commodity risks and issues across the product lifecycle.

•Develop and execute commodity strategies for electromechanical actuators and motors, focusing on cost, quality, and supply chain resilience.
•Lead end-to-end sourcing to deliver quality parts at the right cost when needed.
•Drive RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing for electromechanical commodities.
•Own relationships with external contract manufacturing, managing continuity of supply, risk, cost negotiations, and NPI execution.
•Negotiate and manage supplier agreements and performance metrics across delivery, quality, cost, and innovation.

Travel: High travel

•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
•8+ years’ experience in supply chain commodity management of electromechanical manufacturing of actuators/motors and/or sourcing engineering.
•Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
•Ability to relocate to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA if not already local.
•Experience leading RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing processes for electromechanical commodities.
