Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare cartons/trays by folding, taping, sorting, and labeling; ensure tape supply and proper carton end securing.
  • •Manually pack/palletize product and fill cartons/displays to packaging specifications, ensuring correct corresponding labels.
  • •Perform visual inspections of final packaging for integrity (e.g., seals, registration, code dates, prices) and remove out-of-spec product.
  • •Stack cartons/trays onto pallets/skids using correct stacking patterns; may use pallet jack to move up to 300 lbs.
  • •Maintain safety and hygiene standards: follow 5S, keep work areas clean and aisles clear, perform sanitation and equipment cleaning tasks as directed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • •Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent walking/stooping/kneeling and two-handed carry pushing/pulling as described in the physical requirements.
  • •Experience following safety and hygiene guidelines and working in a production environment with wet/humid and loud conditions.
  • •Ability to perform carton/tray preparation tasks such as folding, taping, sorting, and labeling according to packaging specs.
  • •Ability to complete quality inspection of finished goods and remove out-of-spec product while communicating packaging problems.
