Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and document comprehensive health plan operations desk level procedures for a health plan.
  • •Translate business processes and system functionality into clearly defined step-by-step operational procedures for end users.
  • •Develop DLPs covering standard workflows, exception handling, and step-by-step issue resolution processes aligned with current Facets behavior and business rules.
  • •Partner with operations teams to align DLPs with Facets system setup across membership, billing, claims, benefits, provider, and pricing modules; translate operations logic into procedures for claims processing, adjustments, and issue resolution.
  • •Troubleshoot recurring claims/benefit issues tied to configuration gaps or system logic; validate dependencies and support training/implementation with updated DLP documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience working within healthcare payer operations, including Medicare and Medicaid.
  • •5+ years of hands-on experience with claims systems (Facets, QNXT, HealthRules), including premium billing, claims processing, and benefits/provider configuration.
  • •Strong experience developing desk level procedures (DLPs) and SOPs/workflows/operational documentation for end users.
  • •Deep understanding of eligibility and premium billing, claims adjudication processes, and benefits configuration and plan structures.
  • •Proven ability to translate complex processes into step-by-step instructions, troubleshoot system/process issues, and build training materials/user guides in a consulting/client-facing environment.
