Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee, research, and resolve open accounts receivable balances for major retail Home Center customer accounts.
  • •Conduct collection calls and correspondence to resolve discrepancies, short pays, refunds, and account adjustment requests.
  • •Monitor and maintain financial integrity of A/R, including adherence to corporate credit policies and handling credit holds and lines of credit.
  • •Research and respond to A/R inquiries, communicate and follow up with customers on accounts, and coordinate with dispatchers and sales representatives.
  • •Prepare monthly A/R condition reports, run sales reports from a database and upload to spreadsheets for analysis, and identify problem accounts with updates to the Controller.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s Degree from a two-year college and/or at least 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
  • •Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office.
  • •Ability to analyze and reconcile large, complex data sets and perform accounting calculations for amounts and adjustments.
  • •Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail and follow-up.
  • •Knowledge of basic accounting math and accurate data entry/research with 10-key operation; ability to read and interpret invoices, credit applications, and related documents.
