Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead strategy, execution, and alignment across four engineering teams (AI Teammates Platform, AI Teammates Experience, AI Chat Experience, and Agent Orchestration) to deliver the AI Teammates vision.
  • •Own end-to-end technical strategy for enterprise-grade AI platforms including model rollouts, evaluation infrastructure, tool orchestration, MCP, and proactivity engines.
  • •Deliver next-generation human-AI collaboration through product and platform engineering for chat surfaces, discovery/onboarding, explainability, human-in-the-loop workflows, and ROI/governance experiences for administrators.
  • •Build multi-system agent orchestration capabilities including integrations, Agent Skills, and MCP frameworks to enable complex workflows across external tools and internal systems.
  • •Scale engineering leadership by recruiting, retaining, and developing managers and senior engineers while fostering an inclusive engineering culture and bridging cross-functional alignment with R&D, Product, Design, Security, and Legal.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years leading multiple engineering teams or managers, driving multi-team strategy and delivering complex production systems.
  • •Deep understanding of applied AI, LLM evaluation frameworks, agent/tool orchestration, Model Context Protocol (MCP), proactivity models, and production observability.
  • •Experience across backend/systems reliability, complex full-stack product interfaces, and enterprise governance/permissions models at scale.
  • •Proven ability to balance short-term customer deliverables with long-term architectural investments while navigating ambiguity across quarters.
  • •Demonstrated commitment to attracting, hiring, and mentoring senior engineers and managers, fostering an inclusive environment and psychological safety.
